When Kat & Jack reached out to have me be part of their French château wedding, I was beyond excited! Château et Domaine de Cazenac has been on my bucket list for a while, and wow, it did not disappoint!
K & J just wanted to hang out with their friends and party like there was no tomorrow, and that is exactly what we did! Quite possibly the most lively wedding the Dordogne Valley has ever seen and heard! WOW, what a few days!
They had both photo and video coverage, the energy was insane! I spent every minute partying with them and had an absolute blast... what a crowd!

INCREDIBLE WEEKEND IN WITH Kat & Jack
Château et Domaine de Cazenac is an enchanting historic wedding venue in the heart of the Dordogne Valley, south-west France, nestled halfway between Bergerac and Sarlat-la-Canéda. Set on 25 hectares of lush countryside, this restored 14th–18th century château offers sweeping views over the Dordogne, elegant reception spaces, and charming gardens, making it a dream location for destination weddings.
Destination weddings truly have my heart.
There’s something magical about that atmosphere when all your favourite people are together for more than just one day, wrapped up in this little bubble of celebration.
Day 1 kicked off with an all-white dressed evening get-together, beginning the festivities with shared pizzas, Aperol Spritz, and lots of champagne. It was a wonderful atmosphere, everyone simply enjoying each other’s company and really loosening up together before the big day. The party vibe was immediate: heels came off, there was plenty of dancing and grooving, and even a spontaneous dip in the pool for a few guests!
Although the ceremony was later in the afternoon (as it can be really warm during the day), the wedding day itself was an early start, especially for those who were up until 3:30am enjoying some fine whiskey!
Tennis on the court for the boys was the perfect way to get ready, while the bride’s team began preparations in the incredible bridal suite.
You can see from the photos that every corner and backdrop at Cazenac is simply beautiful.
K & J got married under the trees, overlooking the Dordogne Valley, and then the party truly began.
Hanging out with their guests, dining and celebrating outdoors, I managed to steal them away for a few photos as we were blessed with a classic French sunset.
This had to be one of the most lively dance floors, my word, what a bunch of awesome people!
After shooting many destination weddings, day three is often a time to relax by the pool and recover… usually!
Well, take a look at the photos and videos, this crowd did not stop.
One incredibly talented guest sang, everyone kept partying, and they finished on a high together in the pool.
I’ll never forget this group an absolute highlight!
I always have such a lovely time capturing weddings at Château et Domaine de Cazenac, and I’d love to return soon, so if you’re reading this because you have a wedding there, why not drop me a line to see if I’m available on your date HERE
